Spirit on Fire by Katlyn Conrad

Genre: Paranormal Romantic Erotica

The werewolf paid cash, sliding the change into the hip pocket of his jeans. At the other end of the counter Samantha pretended to study the flyers on the cork bulletin board—a high school production of The Tempest, a ten percent discount on acupuncture, a tai chi class at the local Y. The scent of coffee and the whir of an espresso machine filled the air, suddenly stifling. Samantha had time to grab coffee but not for a were encounter. And if she was late for work again tonight she’d lose this job, just like she had all the others.
Don’t see me. Don’t see what I am. I am normal. I am invisible. I am shielded by a protective light…
Too late.
Her heart roller coastered downward. He was striding toward her. She met his eyes, determined to show no fear. The werewolf almost looked human. His plain white tee stretched tight against washboard abs. There was a hint of a shadow about his chiseled jaw and in her mind’s eye she caught a flash of rumpled sheets and sex. Like a photographic overlay, the spirit of the wolf shifted inside and around him. It snarled at her and her spine stiffened, the skin on her arms tingling.
There was no call for the were to be rude, she thought.
He stopped in front of her and leaned against the counter. His gaze took a leisurely stroll from her low-heeled boots to her mahogany hair and corkscrew curls.
Petite and curvy, she was a twenty-something morsel in a lipstick-pink trench coat. “What’s a girl like you doing in a place like this?” His voice was a husky growl.
“I think you’re supposed to say, ‘nice girl like you’.”
“No.” He grinned. “I meant what I said.”
Dammit. He did know what she was. And worse, she was responding. Her pulse rose, warmth flooding her cheeks. She hated this because a part of her wanted to smile, to flirt. Sam was lonely and not proud of the fact. But once the were and his clan discovered she was broken things would go bad. Fast.
The weres were all about survival of the fittest, and the broken were a danger to the pack. She’d be driven out at best and at worst…
She pushed that memory aside, the beating from a pack of female weres who had left her for dead. The surgeries that had followed. The drugs. The confusion. She’d wanted to die then, had expected death.
God, how she wanted to be normal.

Bear Your Fangs by Aurora Russell

Genre: Paranormal Erotica

“If you keep looking at me like that, I’ll forget what little honor I have left and I will take all that you offer.”
The man bit out the words as if he were in agony, and Eva realized that she’d been standing there, leaning over him with her cleavage exposed provocatively, having a full-on fantasy about a complete stranger. A scary complete stranger. And yet she still wasn’t afraid he would hurt her.
She was…drawn him, more strongly than she’d ever been drawn to another. Eva felt a flush creep from her cheeks across her chest and up her face until she thought her whole body must be rosy. When she darted another glance at the man’s face, it showed naked hunger and…longing. Great, gnawing longing.
“Why don’t you tell me what I’m offering?”
Eva couldn’t believe that throaty, temptress’s voice had come from her mouth, but she couldn’t regret her words when the man drew in a sharp breath of pleased surprise. At least he no longer looked so sad. Instead, a trace of hopefulness was now evident in his gaze.
“If you truly wish to help me, I need to taste you.”
He looked tentative, and so hopeful and unbelievably sexy, despite his grievous injury, that Eva had to step closer to him, still touching his shoulder. She noticed a faint accent in the cadence of his words, too, which somehow made him even more appealing and less threatening.
“Taste me how? My blood?” she whispered.
The stranger looked her straight on, holding eye contact. “I need blood, yes, but I also need to taste your woman’s honey. That will truly speed my recovery. But once I’ve tasted you, I don’t think I’ll be able to stop until I’ve possessed you fully, not with the blood of the fight still in my veins.”
Eva quaked at the thought of not only trusting this man to drink her blood but also opening up for him in a way she’d never opened for another man. Her ex-fiancé had never even wanted to try giving her oral sex once in the years they’d been together. She realized that, even if this stranger hadn’t just been injured saving her life, she wanted to do this. She wanted this man so much she ached with yearning and practically shook with her need, feeling suddenly empty.
“Yes,” she breathed.

Releasing Rage by Cynthia Sax

Genre: Sci-fi Erotic Romance

“I serve you. You’re my cyborg.”
“I’m your master.” His eyes glowed with pride and passion. “You belong to me, are mine to do with as I will.”
“Yes, sir.”
She couldn’t form a longer reply. Her breasts were alive with his touch, his nanocybotics working her like a thousand tiny tongues, concentrated where his mouth engulfed her skin. Her pussy warmed with the friction of his palm.
“Right now, I wish to repair your damage.” He laved her breasts with his tongue, covering her with his unique form of care, spreading his seduction across her entire chest, and she writhed against him, fighting her release, wishing to delay this delicious torture. “I want my female in prime condition when I breed with her.” Rage pushed two of his large fingers inside her.
She whimpered, the fit tight, stretching her.
“You’ll take me, little engineer.” He spread his fingers, increasing the pressure. “Not today. You haven’t yet earned that reward.” He pumped her, his rhythm fast, hard, squeezing the breath from her chest. “But soon. I’ll fill your snug human pussy with my cyborg cum.”
“Yes, sir.” Joan wiggled, impaled on his fingers.
“I’ll breed with you whenever, wherever, however, I desire.” His lips moved against her as he thrust his fingers between her pussy lips, filling her again and again. “And you’ll deny me nothing because you serve me.”
“I serve you, sir.” Let me come, she wanted to beg yet didn’t dare. He was in control, would give her relief when, if he wished.
“When I tire of you, when you no longer satisfy my needs—”
She shook with want and need and an endless yearning. “You’ll kill me, sir.” Saying the words gave her some power and she wasn’t scared of death, only of not finding release.
“Yes.” He drove into her pussy with his fingers and nipped her breast with his lip-covered teeth.
She screamed, bearing down on his hand, taking him deeper inside her. Her inner walls constricted around him, as though trying to make their bond permanent. His mouth tugged and pulled at her nipple, extending her orgasm until she had nothing left, sagging against him. Rage drew her upward with one arm, this demonstration of his strength impressing her.
“My female.” He licked the scratch on her face. His nanocybotics warmed her skin as they repaired her damage. His fingers remained inside her.

Dark Velvet by Lisa Carlisle

Genre: Paranormal Romance

Savannah’s fingers traced the cool marble of the god’s muscular back and then the definition in his arm as he drew an arrow to shoot. She pictured Antoine bent over the sculpture, brows furrowed in concentration, losing sense of time as he polished each portion to perfection.
“Do you like this?” A deep voice whispering in her ear startled her.
She jumped at the sound of his voice, bumping back into his hard chest, and he caught her upper arms to steady her. Only one man in the castle spoke in that smooth French accent—the sculptor himself.
“Oh, I’m sorry, Antoine.” She fumbled taking a half step forward, away from him. “I shouldn’t have touched it.”
“No, don’t apologize.” He let go of her arms, but his warm breath tickled her ear. He took her hand, caressing her palm, which sent tingles up her arm. Her bottom lip quivered as he brought her fingers to rest again on the marble piece.
She thanked the gods he remained behind her so he couldn’t witness her nervous reaction, and she bit her lip to halt the tremors. This was not the way for a young protégée to behave in front of her benefactor. He owned the castle, created the art colony here where she was attending on a poetry scholarship—she shouldn’t go gaga simply from his touch. Which was exactly what she was doing.
“It pleases me that you appreciate my work.” Leading her fingers down the figure’s chiseled chest, he leaned in closer and added, “I liked watching you admire it.”
His voice alone sent flames rippling through her. Every nerve in her being lit with awareness in reaction to him. In the months since they’d met, they’d never been alone in such proximity. Weeks of heated looks from afar had inflamed her desire so the slightest touch became intimate, strengthening her need for more.
Sounds of approaching voices indicated this evening’s performance in the chateau would soon begin. Several of the musicians in the art colony had collaborated on orchestral pieces they wanted to play in front of an audience for the first time. As fellow artists in residence, they sought the support of fellow residents.
Antoine kissed her hand like a suitor in a bygone era. “I hope you enjoy the concert, Savannah.”
Her lips parted, opening and closing like a fish while she thought of what to say. When she mustered up the courage to turn and face him, he had already left the room, filling her with both relief and disappointment. Unaware she’d been holding her breath, she exhaled deeply.
Several times over the course of the evening, Savannah caught Antoine’s dark eyes watching her. Her emotions roiled in confusion while the performers played Barber’s Adagio for Strings. The way he held her gaze without blinking made her squirm in the burgundy armchair. The rising tension and resolution from the violin and cello underscored her tumultuous emotions. She smiled at him briefly and focused on the musicians, aware of how her heartbeat had escalated. When she glanced again at Antoine, he still watched her unabashed, as if unconcerned about what the others would think. He took a sip of Porto, nodded her way, and then returned his attention to the musicians. She sat up straighter and crossed her legs at the ankles, then uncrossed them, and crossed them again. The attraction was becoming more difficult to ignore.
In light of how he breached the physical distance by touching her so earlier, she feared she’d be unable to keep her desires hidden much longer. She’d developed an instant crush since she arrived at the castle three months before. How could she not be—he was a renowned sculptor with a devastating, dark appeal. What was she to him than just another young resident who would be gone in three months, replaced by another.
Was she reading more into the brief exchange than was warranted? It’s just a look. Only a casual glance my way. Even as she attempted to fool herself, she knew she was full of shit.

Dark Wolf Enterprises by A.M. Griffin

Genre: Paranormal Romance

He’s leaving me.
The thought ripped through her mind. Then an instant later, another thought eased the first.
He’d never leave me. I belong to him.
She’d no time to pick apart the last thought because, on the next blink, Kristof—the wolf—was standing outside of her window—watching her.
She knew it was him and not some other wolf, she felt he was hers. Their eyes locked. A part of her wanted to shrink away under his stare, but the other…wanted to claim him.
The cockpit door creaked open and the pilot peered at her. Yelping she raised her gun and aimed. Screaming, he shut the door before she could fire off a shot.
“Come out here and I’ll kill you! Do you see what happened to your buddies?” Her hands shook as she aimed the gun.
She was going to die. There was a man-wolf killer outside and a pilot-kidnapper in here.
Another glance outside and Kristof stood, as a man, watching her. A naked man.A wonderfully naked man.
She shook her head.
Wolf-beast.
“Trudy. Open the hatch. I’m coming back up,” He yelled out to her.”
Was she supposed to let him back in? He hadn’t said that.
She chewed on her lower lip, waiting for an answer she couldn’t think of. If she opened the door would he attack her? Was he a rabid beast who couldn’t control himself?
She shook her head. “No. You said not to open the hatch.”
“I meant don’t open the hatch for them.”
“Since I know your secret are you going to kill me now?”
“Don’t be silly. It’s cold out here. Open the hatch.”
Should she let him back in?
“Are the pilots still alive?” he asked.
Her gaze shot back to the cockpit. “Yes. But not for long,” she yelled, loud enough for the pilots to hear.
“I’m naked and it’s about thirty degrees out here. Can you please let me in?”
“Wh-what about your super-human heating abilities? Aren’t you supposed to be so hot that’d you’d melt snow?”
He cocked his head to the side. “This is not a young adult story. I’m freezing my ass off.”
“If he kills me I’m going to be so pissed,” she mumbled to herself.
